We love this Experience in Andover, Hampshire.
For anyone who’s ever wanted to experience the unrivalled joy of piloting a chopper, this helicopter flying experience is essential. Based at Thruxton Airport, this thrilling aerial adventure gives high-flyers a chance to take their first steps towards becoming a real helicopter pilot. Begin with a safety briefing which includes a talk on the controls of a two-seater R22 helicopter. Once strapped in, it’s time for a vertical lift-off – take over the controls of this nimble training craft for a whole 15 minutes and find out exactly what it’s capable of, with an instructor in the passenger seat to offer flying tips and guidance from start to finish. The feeling of flying a helicopter incredible, as are the views – it’s the ride of a lifetime!
