A lovely Animal Encounters Experience in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.
What a great chance to get up close and personal to a friendly group of meerkats at the animal centre in Cambridge, and find out at close hand the social behaviour of these cuddly creatures. Enter the meerkat enclosure alongside a knowledgeable keeper who knows them all well, who will assist and even take some photos! These inquisitive and friendly animals are super curious, so expect to be treated as human climbing frames during time in their enclosure. This is the best time to take pictures as a permanent record of you with your new friends. After the selfies, feed them and get up close and personal to see what makes them tick. The experience includes the opportunity to see a range of other reptiles too – it doesn’t get better.
Seven days a week throughout the year, by appointment only.
Animals need to be cared for whatever the weather, so experiences will always go ahead.
The experience lasts around 30 minutes.
This is a one to one experience with just the two of you and a keeper.
Wear old comfortable clothes as you will get sawdust on you and the meerkats may chew on your shoe laces. Covered footwear is advised.
Participant must be aged eight years or over. Unfortunately there are no disabled toilets, however the Meerkat enclosure is suitable for manual wheelchairs.
