Board a five-seater Jet Ranger helicopter for a fantastic half hour sightseeing trip, following the path of the meandering Thames into the heart of the city. Flying at 1,500 feet offers a fantastic view of the capital’s iconic landmarks including the O2 arena in London, Tower Bridge, The London Eye, the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. Flights operate on selected weekend dates from March to September in Surrey and from March to October in Essex.


Flying is a weather dependent activity and it’s essential that you call the venue for a weather check before setting out on the day. If your flight is cancelled because of the weather it will be re-booked – please contact the venue direct.

How long does the experience last?

The flight time lasts for up to 30 minutes from engines-on to engines-off. There is also a 15 to 30 minute safety briefing before the flight.

How many other people?

With this voucher for one, share the flight with up to three other passengers and a seasoned pilot.

Can I take people to watch?

Spectators are welcome to watch you take off and land. A pair of binoculars or a camera will come in handy.

What do I wear?

Please bear in mind that the helicopter can get quite warm and dress accordingly. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.

Are there any restrictions?

Min age six (under 16’s must be accompanied by a participating adult). Max weight 17st. Pregnant women over seven months can’t fly. A photo ID (e.g. passport/photo driving licence) and utility or mobile bill with name and address is required on the day.

Anything Else?

Operators are CAA-licenced and members of the British Helicopter Advisory Board (BHAB). The sites you pass on the flight will depend on which operator you make your booking with and details are provided at point of booking.
