See North Lanarkshire from the air during this six mile pleasure flight in a fast-moving helicopter. Discover one of the most idyllic ways to see the sensational sights of the beautiful British landscape below. During the flight climb to around 1000 feet and soak up breath taking sights from the ground below and discover some of the local landmarks along the way with the help of the pilot. Take along a camera to capture the impressive views below, to show friends and family and relive the experience once back on solid ground.
Flights take place around one weekend date per month from April – October.
This is a weather dependent activity, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud base above the ground. It is crucial to call the venue before setting out to check conditions. If the flight is cancelled, it can be re-booked directly with the venue.
Expect to be at the venue for about one hour, including a safety briefing and a flight time of five minutes. Please arrive a few minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start.
The helicopter seats up to six participants, plus the pilot.
Spectators are welcome to watch the take off and landing. A pair of binoculars or a camera comes in handy.
Please bear in mind that inside the helicopter can get quite warm. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
