A wonderful Experience in East Fortune, East Lothian.
Experience flying with a difference! Launching from one of the most historic airfields in the country, embark on a sensational eight mile sightseeing helicopter flight and soak in awe-inspiring views of the picturesque East Lothian countryside. Afterwards, in addition to enjoying a delicious cream tea, receive entry to the fascinating National Museum of Flight and walk through a static plane for the Concorde experience – it offers real a glimpse into what it was like to be a traveller or crew member on board a Concorde during a passenger flight. This is a weather dependent activity, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud base above the ground. It is crucial to call the venue before setting out to check conditions. If the flight is cancelled, it can be re-booked directly with the venue.
Expect to be at the venue for up to eight hours, including a six mile helicopter flight (lasting around five minutes), a cream tea and time to enjoy the venue.
Share the helicopter with up to three other passengers and the pilot.
Spectators are welcome to watch you take off and land. A pair of binoculars or a camera will come in handy.
Please bear in mind that inside the helicopter can get quite warm. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
Minimum age is 6 and any under 16’s must sit in the back and be accompanied by a participating adult. Maximum weight is 18 stone (or 15 stone for front seat passengers).
