A fun Experience in Chester, Cheshire.
Become a brewer for the day at Chester’s Brewhouse and Kitchen, the ideal treat for a beer enthusiast. Begin the experience with breakfast, before learning about the technical aspects of beer making from a resident head brewer. Next, it’s time to roll up the sleeves and brew your very own beer under expert tuition. Try your hand at mashing, boiling and adding hops, making the magic by adding yeast. After all that hard work, sit down to a tasty pub lunch and sample some of Brewhouse’s very best beers, including Golden Boy which is an ode to footballer Michael Owen who was born in Chester. End the trip with a question and answer session and receive a five litre keg of the beer to take away at the end.
Runs on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the year. Please provide at least two weeks booking notice.
Lasts between six and eight hours, including time for lunch.
Share the experience with up to eight other beer lovers.
Wear warm old clothes (jeans are recommended, they may get dirty) and leather shoes or wellies for this wet environment.
