Always fancied doing more with your DSLR camera? This is a great opportunity to take a walking tour of Leeds focusing on taking great pictures when the light is low. The tour will be led by an experienced tutor with great knowledge of the area and, using your camera, they will teach you how to create great evening and night time images. The class covers guidance on how to use your tripod, getting to grips with white balance and ISO features, how to use aperture settings to take great pictures at night and creating light trails when using shutter speed light effects. Come home with images of the city you never thought possible.
Available on Thursday evening’s once a month.
The course may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or severe rain). Please call the venue if in any doubt.
Lasts for approximately two hours.
A maximum of five participants share the day.
The tour begins indoors but much of it take place outside, so please dress appropriately with sensible footwear.
Minimum age 16. Participants don’t need previous photography experience, but must have a digital SLR camera (with a basic understanding of the manual settings) and a tripod to take on the day.
The course trainer is a working photographer with an absolute passion for photography.
