The perfect experience for two adults and two children with a passion for all things feathered – a family bird of prey day in rural Northumberland. Upon arrival, an expert hawk handler introduces the whole family to the range of beautiful and impressive birds that are involved in the day. Spend time getting familiarised with these majestic beasts and learn about habitats, hunting techniques and other amazing facts. Afterwards, a selection of birds of prey are flown for all the family to enjoy. Everyone gets a chance to get hands-on and up close to witness the speed and agility of the hawks and the silent flight of the owls. Bring a camera, as there are plenty of great photo opportunities to be had. Complimentary tea and coffee are included.
