Available on selected midweek and weekend dates each month between May and September.
In extreme weather conditions, trips may be postponed if guests’ safety could be considered at risk.
The cruise lasts one and a half hours and runs from 6pm to 7:30pm.
A maximum of 10 guests share the evening on board.
In keeping with spirit of this experience, smart casual or formal attire is requested for the cruise.
Due to alcohol being served, guests must be aged 18 or over. Participants with disabilities are welcome, but would need to walk down two steps and Betsie Jane is not adapted to take wheelchairs aboard.
Betsie Jane was built in 1938, commissioned by Lord Ebbisham for entertaining guests, while cruising the French canals. During WWII her role was changed from leisure to military use, however and she was used to tow smaller craft in the Dunkirk evacuation.
