Take a look at this Experience in Farnborough, Hampshire.
Take your first steps into scuba diving in a swimming pool in Hampshire. Start with a safety briefing and some expert scuba advice on underwater mobility techniques, introducing you to a new underwater world. Once in the water, learn together how to breathe, achieve underwater buoyancy and get used to the scuba equipment. Hampshire courses take place under controlled conditions – and while it might seem far away from a warm, tropical ocean, it’s a great way to get a basic grounding in diving and find out whether you like it. Also perfect for anyone considering taking a PADI Open Water Diving Course.
Saturdays at 4pm from February – November. Book at least two weeks in advance.
Lasts around two hours, but this may vary depending on the standard of pupils. Around half an hour is spent in the pool.
There is a maximum pupil to tutor ratio of 8:1.
We don’t recommend bringing spectators, but they can usually be accommodated upon request – please ask when booking.
