Spend a day roaming the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew – one of the UK’s most beloved and celebrated attractions. With over 90 attractions, 326 acres of sensational gardens and botanic glasshouses, Kew Gardens is home to one of the world’s largest collection of living plants. Feel free to explore the treetop walk, Princess of Wales Conservatory and walk through the 10 different zones, which emulate different climates from all over the globe. Stroll through Kew’s many beautiful gardens and instalments, pay a visit to the peaceful water lily pond and wander through the many exquisite of rooms of the grandiose Kew Palace. As well as its many stunning attractions, Kew also offers four different cafes and restaurants – a top day out for nature lovers!
Open daily, excluding 24 – 25 December. Kew Palace is located within Kew Gardens and is open from 1 April until 1 October 2018 only.
Kew Gardens opens at 10am. Closing times vary according to season.
Most of the attractions are outdoors, so please wrap up warm in winter. Comfortable, flat footwear is also recommended.
Minimum age is 17 (children aged 0 – 3 go free and children aged 4 – 16 years old pay £3.50 on arrival). Kew Gardens is accessible to wheelchair users and those with mobility scooters.
Kew Palace, Royal Kitchens, Queen Charlotte’s Cottage and the Waterlily House usually close from late October to the end of March. The Temperate House and the Evolution House are closed for a major restoration project (anticipated completion summer 2018)
