Learn the art of digital photography with this fun and informative two day course based in Richmond-Upon-Thames. Suitable for both beginners and those with some experience, this course teaches a host of great camera skills which are sure to liven up any picture album and ultimately make photography more fun. Over a two day period, get to grips with DSLR elements such as aperture, shutter speeds, ISO and white balance, focus points, raw V jpegs and the fundamental rules of creative composition. Once confident with your camera, enjoy a photoshoot at a local spot and put all those newfound skills into action under the guidance of a tutor. Leave with detailed course notes and a keen photographic eye.
A Saturday or Sunday date at least four times a year.
The course may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or severe rain). Please call the venue if in any doubt.
Starts at 9.30am and finishes at approximately 4.30pm each day, including a break for lunch (not provided).
A maximum of 12 participants share the day.
The experience will begin indoors but much of it will take place outdoors, so please dress appropriately with suitable footwear.
Minimum age 16. Participants don’t need any previous photography experience, but must have a digital SLR camera.
Lunch is not provided, so please bring it with you. The course trainers are all hand-picked working photographers who share a passion for photography.
